Syrian Refugees

Syrian Refugees

We Americans, with our over whelming compassion and our equally over whelming ability to hate, are stuck with a real issue to deal with.

The civil war that is taking place in the Middle East is displacing millions of refugees. Our Christian compassion requires that we do something to help feed and care for these refugees. It is right for us to do this.

There are those who take a stance of hatred. The idea that every Syrian is guilty because of what some have done. The idea that every Muslim is guilty because of what some have done. It has been our way since we locked away the Japanese in WW2.

I think we need to be somewhere closer to the compassion side, with a sprinkling of caution and a wary eye.

I would love to see the Christian community take this opportunity to rise and shine in the lives of these refugees. To take the lead in their care and comfort.

As president of the United States, I would take the initiative in raising the funds to build these people a new country to settle in. The most logical of places is the undeveloped areas of Africa.

It makes no sense to pay to bring them to America where they would have no jobs and no homes and where the government would have to make them wards of the nation. We would, in a very short period of time, spend $100 Billion dollars and have provided them nothing to sustain themselves.

However, if we put that money into a pot with the other nations of the world, we could buy land in Africa and build them a new country. The minerals and farming of the land would be enough to create a thriving industry and support them well. Plus, it would keep them close to their homes, should they want to return some day.

America's only hope with regard to the conflicts in the Middle East is to keep it in the Middle East. Our greatest asset is that we are separated from our enemies by a vast ocean that keeps us isolated and safe. While it is increasingly easier to overcome that distance, it is still our best strategy with ISIS to keep them disrupted and contained. The very real threat of radical Islamist extremist exists in every group of Muslims from that region. The chant of Death to America is very common, and very sincere.

To remove the containment aspect of our best strategy, is to invite greater attacks on our soil. Even if none of the Muslims brought here are extremest, the likelihood that many would be recruited after they are here is greater then the likelihood that our enemies can recruit from those who are here now. Caution in the face of reality is not hate. It is not racism. It is not religious persecution. It is just smart.

Immigration and Our Southern Border

Immigration and Our Southern Border

The immigration question has been pushed to the forefront of the political arena by inflammatory rhetoric from some of the Republican Party candidates seeking the office of President. It seems there is a notion that such speech is good for America, or can get votes. I am not willing to join into this complete misrepresentation of the facts. I am, after all, interested more in people and in speaking peace then fueling the angry mob.

America has always been known for it's compassion and concern for those who are the victims of the violence of war. In many cases, we have gone way over and above to help those seeking escape from violence and the threat of death in their own country. Even recently, our president has suggested that we open our doors to 200,000 refugees from an area of the world where “Death to America” is as common as “Hello”.

Yet, to our south is one of the most violent areas of the world. Tens of thousands of refugees abandon everything and risk their lives, and rape, in order to reach the promise of safety and freedom in America. Yet, we treat them like vermin. What has happened to our Christian compassion and our American spirit? Why have we not found a solution to the needs of these people. Simply put, we first need to identify them as refugees and not just illegal aliens.

As president, one of my first acts would be to establish refugee status for those seeking safety and freedom. My next act would be to begin the process of establishing an “Ellis Island” facility (preferably on Mexican soil) where shelter and sanctuary can be provided and processing and education can be conducted to establish productive and legal immigrants. This facility would include processing work visas for those for whom work can be found.

Our nations agriculture industry is built on the backs of migrant/Mexican workers. My first job was at a large corporate farm called Hill Top Orchards in Hartford Michigan. I was one of only a couple non-Hispanic workers there. It wasn't that Hispanics were preferred, it was that the locals simply didn't want to work that hard. As often as they posted help wanted adds, the locals simply did not answer them.

As an adult, just 6 years ago, I drove forklift for a farm in norther NY. A cherry farm and processing plant. Even though the locals complained about the lack of jobs, they still wouldn't take the work on the farm. Most of the labor here was also Hispanic.

Here is my point;
These folk are human beings.
These folk are refugees.
These folk need to be made safe.
These folk need a place to be processed for citizenship.
These folk are vital for our agricultural processes.

And here is one very important point that no one seems to be willing to say:

This situation that results in thousands of refugees fleeing the violence of the drug cartels is born and bred in the United States of America. It is the voracious appetite for anything to alleviate the shallowness of empty lives that results in the huge industry that supports, and causes, the violence. This situation is the consequences of what some call a victimless crime, and is exasperated by laws designed to keep Americans separated from the drugs they want.

Yes, we need to secure our borders. But not from the Mexicans as much as from the ISIS and Al'Quada terrorists that are coming into the country.

Soon there will be hundreds of thousands of refugees from Syria and other countries both south and north of our very unsecured borders. That is a much greater threat to America then Mexicans who do not hate our nation and only want safety and a chance at a real life. I think we should help them.

No, not with welfare and government hand outs. This is a job for the church. We are already well prepared and organized to help in situations like these.

Working with the Mexican authorities and the US authorities, we could create safe havens in northern Mexico and staff them with volunteer missionaries and care givers.

The Platform for K. Ross Newland

What I believe about America

America was founded by men who had common moral principals. Some were Christians. Some Deists. Some might even have been atheists or Muslims. But, at the time of our nation's founding, they all had a fundamental agreement on morals and ethics. Many of these morals and ethics found their way into the Declaration of Independence, and from there into the Constitution of The United States.

It has been said that one of our founding fathers made the statement “We have gambled our future on the ability of the America people to keep the Ten Commandments with all their hearts”. This quote, whether true or not, represents a very real fact that American government was established with the intention that it would not be the moral, or religious, voice of the nation. Within the writings of these great men can be found an underlying principal of liberty and justice for all that would be protected by a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Such a government will, by it's structure and intent, be in a state of flux as the society evolves and changes.

Perhaps our founding fathers had no vision of how much society could cast of the morals of our ancestors. Or, perhaps they simple recognized that any nation that wants to strive and thrive must recognize that each individual has a right of freedom of choice when it comes to religion and morals. One thing is certain, they understood that, if the nation was to survive in the freedoms and peace such a government could afford, then the government would have to recognize, represent, and protect the individual as fervently as it would the majority and the whole of the nation. Such that, as the society tosses of the morals and values of the previous generations, the government (in order to maintain peaceful coexistence and unity of purpose) must also recognize and protect the rights of the citizens to do so.

Our founding fathers, looking to the Bible and to recent history, saw that there is no place given, no foundation established, upon which a government led by the church of JESUS the CHRIST could stand. Not only had they seen how the church had distorted and twisted the teaching of JESUS to their own means, but they also recognized that there was no place, in all the plans and teachings of their LORD, a call or command or suggestion that Christians should try to control the actions of those with whom they would disagree. In establishing this nation in the way they did, our founding fathers determined that true Christianity would thrive and prevail in a society of perfect freedom of choice, if the Christians would only hold true to the teachings of their Savior.

Today in America, Christians and atheists alike are striving to tear down the freedoms and barriers that our founding fathers so meticulously built into the fabric of our nation. I find myself looking at a quote from Abraham Lincoln, “In your hands, my dissatisfied fellow countrymen, and not in mine, is the momentous issue of civil war. “

There is now, in this country, a series of minor and consistent civil wars perpetrated upon the American people by the American people. A sense of the nation tearing itself apart in order that some might force their ideals and there personal morals upon those who do not agree. Groups of people who all want to demand that things be done their way and that everyone live by their code and their standards. Each one of them wanting to control the government and use it to control the people. Yet, ours is not a government intended to rule or dictate lifestyles and morals. Ours is a nation that is to be governed by those who represent the people, not rule over them.

So it is that we come to this place in our history. A place where, even as the government still operates in the manner it was created, the very foundation of this form of government is under attack by those who would use it as a weapon against the American people, rather than protect it and them. Christians are drawing battle lines against other Christians and the sinners they should be striving to love and redeem. Homosexuals are being forced to battle to have simple rights and freedoms. Militant atheists are battling to remove any mention of religion from our nation and denying it's profound impact on our history and culture. Whites continue to fight against blacks. Blacks fight against whites. The nation is torn apart by immigration issues and incompatible religious ideologies. And where are our leaders?

Our leaders are feeding the anger and frustration of the people in order to gain power. They wholly, and unequivocally, feed and encourage division in the name of strengthening and protecting. Whether it is in government or in the religious or the secular arena, our leaders have learned that they can feed the discontent and enrage the flock, in order to keep the positions of power by presenting themselves as the one who can win against the perceived and contrived enemy that lives next door.

THIS NEEDS TO STOP

It is this reason, above all others, that moved me to become a candidate for the President of the United States. As a Christian, I know JESUS has given no calling to HIS people to try to control the actions of others. As a Christian, I understand a fundamental principal that “LOVE NEVER DEMANDS ITS OWN WAY”. As an American, I believe in freedom. I believe in the rights of each individual to have LIFE and LIBERTY and to pursue HAPPINESS in whatever way a person chooses as long as it doesn't interfere with the rights of others.

I know there is room enough in America for all of our citizens to live in peace and strive in unity for the advancement of all persons as equal before the law and GOD.

The change needed in this country does not come from legislation and governance, it comes from true leadership and the influence that a true leader can bring into the lives of the citizens. These changes come when the leaders no longer seek to fuel the anger and frustration, but strive to dissipate it into an understanding that no one has the only right way to do anything. You do not have to respect or like the choices of your neighbor. You just need to let them make them unhindered by your opinion of what is right and what is wrong. Government cannot legislate morality.

We have seen to what levels the morals of people can fall. When murder is determined to be acceptable, the laws will allow it. Because the people of America will decide it is OK. So, a million Americans are murdered. This is not a failing of our government. It is not a failing of our courts. It is a failing of the America citizens. It is a failing of the church.

ABORTION

Abortions don't happen because they are legal. Abortions are legal because a large segment of the American population wants them to be. It is wrong. It is murder. That is my opinion. If a law were passed, I would sign it. Just because something is legal doesn't mean you should do it. If something is illegal, doesn't mean people won't do it. In the end, the law isn't the answer here.

More abortions would be stopped by good leadership than by passing a good law. More abortions would be stopped by a president who stands in front of the America public and pleads for women not to do this to themselves, then can be stopped by pleading for the life of the baby or calling women “baby killers”. As a Christian, my focus is on spiritual and eternal things. While it is sad that there are a million babies murdered every year, it breaks my heart that there are a million women in such a spiritually dark place that the murder of their baby is even an option. Knowing that spiritual darkness only gets darker after taking a human life, makes me more prone to speak to these women and plead with them for their own sake, and not for the sake of a baby that will be in the hands of JESUS.

That is how a president can end abortions. That is how JESUS would do it.

We need to stop fighting with each other and start speaking and living peace. Those who follow the man who said “Blessed are the peacemakers” and “Live at peace with all men” need to lead the way of peace and turn the other cheek, walk the extra mile, and if they take you to court, give them more than what they ask for. Because, even though our enemies do not war the way JESUS said for us to war, we Christians are obligated to follow HIS plans and HIS ways. If we Christians will do that, we can lead this nation back to strength and courage and prosperity like none of us has seen before.

That is how social issues are dealt with in a free society. By leadership, not legislation

Our government has been bankrupted by a combination of “the art of the deal” and the idea that crept into the heads of Americans that the government is supposed to solve all their problems and disputes. I dealt with the disputes issue above. (We have too many leaders who want to use the government as a weapon against American citizens in order to win an argument and to have their own way) We are not a nation of “majority rule” We are a constitutional republic. Even if the majority and the congress want something, the Supreme Court has to rule whether it is in keeping of equal rights for the individual.

The art of the deal, in congress, works like this;

Senator A wants Senator B to vote for proposition A. Senator B agrees to vote for proposition A only if Senator A will Vote for Proposition B and get senators C and D to vote for Proposition B. So Senator A talks to Senator C about voting for proposition B and Senator C agrees if Senator A will vote for Proposition C and Proposition D as well and getting Senator B to vote for C, D and K. Multiply that times 100 and you can see why the art of the deal costs you Trillions of dollars.

The art of the deal is made possible in large part by the seniority system in government. TERM LIMITS would eliminate some of the power that one congressman can wield over another. TRANSPARENCY, true transparency, would go a long way as well. If I write a law and submit it to congress. Members of congress will add riders to it that have nothing to do with it. Oft times, these riders result in its defeat, rather than the original intent of the law. These riders are added in order to get them passed on a bill that has support, because what is being funded in the riders doesn't have enough support. A president who informs to the American people all the Senators and Representatives who put these riders on the laws the people want, has the power to empower the people to remove those congresspersons who are a hindrance to the policy of the president.

This nation, when it was founded, was founded with a government that was not established to take care of the wants and needs of the people. It was supposed to take care of national defense and promote “General Welfare”. It was never supposed to support individual welfare.

Many years ago I heard a story about Davey Crocket. In the tale, as I remember it, there was a time when a widow of an admiral who had given great service to the nation, came to congress for assistance, as she had fallen on herd times. After many speeches of support, Mr. Crocket stood and spoke of the very real fact that the congress had no right of law, or conscience, to take the money of the public and give it to a private citizen. The request was denied. However, in a previous vote M. Crocket, caught up in the enthusiasm of a moment, had voted a large sum to be used to assist after the Georgetown fire. This opened the barn door.
(you can find the entire story at this address http://www.constitution.org/cons/crockett.htm)

Long since the barn door was opened, many finely intended herds have escaped to cripple and destroy the very foundations of our country. So much so, that the rapid gallop towards socialism (or communism if you prefer) has bankrupted our nation and caused an insane amount of money to be collected from those who work for a living, to be given to those who do not. While this seems like good Christian charity and divine provision, it is in fact extortion and theft. As Davey Crocket would say, “I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has no power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it. We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money.

In ALL cases, socialism results in exploitation of the poor and working class. In every historic account, where the people are allowed to be idle, with no need to strive for their survival, destruction and sloth have consumed and destroyed both them and the nation that supported them. Our government was not meant for this. If we are to maintain some semblance of the nation our forefathers established, then it is incumbent on the citizens to fend for themselves. It is necessary that the peoples of America take care of one another. This, once again, is the cause to which the Christians church is called, and one of the many purposed for their existence that they have shirked off. This nation is founded with the idea that the Christian church would hold fast to the teachings of our savior and would follow HIS commands and precepts, even if there arises those who will not.

The plan that JESUS set down, that HIS people would pool their money together and care for one another, has been so completely rejected that the church has, on occasion, been helped in its efforts by the act of a president to use the funds of the government to support faith based ministries. This is one of the great embarrassments of the church.

70% of the population of America claim to be Christians. (Now, this doesn't mean 70% are Christians) However, if 70% of the nation were to bring a simple, minimal tithe to the storehouse, the Christian church would have enough money to feed the hungry, house the homeless and clothe the naked. As well as provide healthcare for the needy and keep people from losing their homes. All this while requiring work in return for help and establishing care for the needy. The Christian Church could solve ALL the social problems in America. Even racism and illegal immigration, and abortion.

Here is the point, the America citizen needs to be re-educated to understand that the government is not the answer to their issues. The government is not a weapon to use against other Americans just because you do not agree with them and their choice of lifestyle. The America people need to take care of each other and remove the burden from the government. If the Christians in America will not do it, then there is no hope to salvage the nation that conceived started here 200+ years ago.

Now, to empower the American people to do more to take care of each other. The government needs to create a more fair and simple tax plan. We need to remove the burden from the working poor and distribute it equally among those who have been blessed to receive benefit from their life in America. So, if I were your president, this is the plan I would strive to achieve;

Every American would pay a 20% flat tax. There would be a standard deduction of $25,000. Each person who makes $25,000 or less, would get a full refund. That is the basics. This tax would also include the funding of Social Security and a plan to pay of the national debt.

America has become such a disposable society that we even determine that our veterans and senior citizens are something to be treated like disposable diapers. They cover us for a while and then we crap on them and toss them away. Once again, I admit my Christian values influence me here. I think we should hold our veterans and seniors in high esteem and treat them like the people who maintained this country and kept it safe and strong and supported its economy and infrastructure, while keeping us protected. There is no group that does more to hold our economy together then those who work basic labor jobs for 50 years of their lives. We should reward these people for their contribution, not treat them like dead weight.

To this end, there are three major components to my plan;

  1. Relief of the poor
  2. Fully funding Social Security
  3. Paying off the national debt

*The first point is obvious. By using a standard deduction of $25,000 we give a full refund to those who make $25,000 or less. This means that the person who makes $50,000 only pays 10%. It creates the flat tax most Americans seem to favor and it removes some of the tax burden from the poorest, working class Americans. The person doing the basic 9-5 also has no need to file for their refund. This saves them billions.

(side note: If it could be done, I would give the refund at the end of November so families could have the money for Christmas gifts or Christmas vacations. I think this would serve to strengthen some family bonds. Or, half then and half at the end of April)

*The second aspect may not get as much support right away. It will from the seniors and working poor, but not the wealthy. Particularly because the percentage rate is high at this point. However, that percentage will be reduced once there is a good reserve. Likely after the first year.

Five percent will go to Social Security. (this is why 20% isn't that high. Most working class Americans lose more than 20% out of their checks now when you add SS)

Even though a person who makes $25,000 a year will get a full refund of their money, that $25,000 will be counted as Social Security income just like it is now. So, in return for the use of the money, and the contribution to society and the necessary support work they provide for those years of work, those who make a little more will cover those who don't. This tax rate will likely be closer to 2% after the first year. I think it is reasonable for America to take care of those people who scraped along in the minimum wage jobs and lived paycheck to paycheck. Rewarding those who mowed the grass and flipped the burgers with such a small percentage of our income is right.

This is not a welfare program. This is reward for people who supported us for 50 years. This is a support program to honor our elders, which is good and right.

I know that Social Security is a mess. It is a bureaucratic nightmare. It is run by the government, so of course it is. It needs to be fixed. I know that. But, those in power and the rich elite will not do it. They do not think like the working poor. They have no clue. They think they can privatize it and give every person the chance to choose how to invest that money in order to make more money. That sounds real good to them. But, it doesn't to millions of American who are going to live off of it. I will tell you why.

Most Americans who are relying on Social Security to survive, are not in the habit of investing or day trading. They get a check and they pay their bills. When they get old, they want to sign a piece of paper and get a check every month and pay their bills. That is all they want. No money in the markets. No investment portfolios. That stuff is too scary. Just give them a check every month from the government and make sure the government fulfills the promise and requirements.

The difference between the career politicians and the wealthy elite who run this country, and the working class and me is that the people running this country do not have a mother who lives off of her $800 a month SS check. So, we need to make sure that those folk, like my mother, have that available and as simple as can be. It wouldn't hurt to increase the payments a little either.

*Paying off the national debt has been a battle cry of the people for decades. Now, it is at a huge sum of 18 Trillion+ dollars. This has weakened America in the international stage and we need to end it.

It only takes about 7-10 percent in flat tax to fund the operation of this country. There is an additional 5% tax in this plan to pay off the debt. Five percent will raise nearly three trillion dollars a year. We should have the nation debt free in 7 years from its inception. It has to be done.

Now, after that time, we reduce the rate to 13% total. Although, we could leave it up and reduce other taxes to alleviate more taxes off the poor. Future determination based on future information and conditions in America.

Commander and Chief stuff (foreign policy and veterans affairs)

I spent 9 years in the Navy in the submarine fleet. I will not cavalierly spend human lives like was done in Bengahzi. We seem to lose the value of human life more and more as our nation goes further and further away for fundamental values. I will not do that.

I use the VA healthcare system. There are things we need to do with that. Not the least of these is the need to care about our veterans the way civilian doctors care about their patients. Maybe they do too many tests, but it is better than not enough.

The system needs many more urgent care facilities. Or a more sure certainty that the VA will cover the costs, even when nothing is found to be wrong, if you go to a hospital emergency room.

I am one of those people who would have likely died if it were not for being persistent and then falling into the care of a civilian emergency room doctor. I had my triple by-pass before I had a heart attack only because of the insistence of an emergency room doctor. The VA would have had me waiting another couple of months.

We really could use to get some of those churches that would be led to do good works to focus on helping veterans in need. While the government should take care of them, the church is better equipped and more efficient. Still, with us all working together, we can do better.

Syrian Muslim refugees, IS, Al'Quaeda, Taliban, etc

This is the singularly most pressing, untenable situation in the world today. There is no way to stop what is going on with radical Muslims in the world. If we killed every member of every known group of terrorist today, new ones would pop up tomorrow. These people follow a belief that requires them to kill the infidels. This is the foundation of their understanding of their religion. There is no way to stop this other than an act of GOD. Should the message of peace and grace found in the teachings of JESUS find its way into the hearts and minds of the citizens of the Middle East, than there would be hope. As I said, this would take an act of GOD.

America has only one course of action for the wars and struggles in the Middle East. Containment and disruption. If we contain the Muslims to the region of the world that is on the other side of the ocean, we have a chance to not be victimized by these religious zealots. As long as we can keep them busy and disorganized, we can disrupt their ability to attack here at home. There in lies the rub.

Our current administration is going full speed ahead to bring 200,000 people from an area where “Death to America” is as common as “Hello”. On top of that, there is a movement to bring 200,000 to Canada, and Mexico, and Central America, and many more to the countries of South America. In the end, our leaders are planning to support over a million enemies of America to be imported to the nations south and north of our very unsecured boarders.

In my book I write about how Islam would take over this country by 2032. I couldn't see how it could happen until just recently. Now, I see how this president has continually undermined any hope America has of avoiding the carnage that we only see on TV.

I do have a military strategy for IS and Al'Quaeda. I can't share it now or there will be a full defense in place by the time I am president. I can tell you it will cost less money and less American lives. For now, we have to stop the current leadership from orchestrating our destruction.

There is an ever changing world that will be completely different in a year and a half. There will be new threats and different topographies. The battle lines will be redefined and different leaders will be in play. We have no control over those issues at all. We only have the certainty of the few things we can do to improve the conditions in this country.

In the end, the real power to change the course of the nation and the world lies at the doorstop of the Christian church. We need a revival in the churches and an awakening in the nation. There is nothing government and courts and laws can do to fight the spiritual sickness that has torn this nation apart.

So, what kind of person qualifies to be president of the United States? Let's look at the options and ideals of those available and the pundits that comment on what a President should be.

I recently heard one of the talking head media folk espousing how they wouldn't support anyone who didn't have good experience as a governor. A number of governors have stepped up and proclaimed they have balanced the budgets in their states and so they should be president. Examination?

They balanced their budgets by exploiting the poor with lotteries and the proliferation of slot machines and gambling establishments. They balanced their budgets with billions of dollars from the federal government. How does any of that translate to being president? There is no national lottery and there is no magic pot of gold above the level of federal government. (Unless you borrow it).

How about the senators in the race. I have heard them say how horrible it is that the veterans are treated so badly. They are the ones in the position to have done something about it for years. So..?????

Then there are those who feel the country should be run like a corporation. Folks, corporate America is run with the idea of borrow, borrow, borrow, declare bankruptcy. Borrow, borrow, borrow, declare bankruptcy. Let's try this. Didn't work. Declare bankruptcy and restructure. This is the mentality some think we should put into a government that is already in borrow mode. Makes no sense to me.

Frankly, I think the country should be run like a family. The only people who actually balance a budget in America is that family living on $40,000 a year with mom and dad and two kids. They seem to be the only ones who get the idea of not buying things they can't afford.

We need a leader who will influence the America people to peace within our borders. Someone needs to stand up and say it is not necessary that we all embrace the same morals and ethics. We do not have to agree with each other to live in peace with each other. We don't all have to be the same. We need a leader who will not try to use the government to force a religion or a belief on those who disagree. We need a spirit of peace and we need an act of GOD.

We need a leader who can bring the blessings of GOD to the nation. Because without them, no amount of human effort or planning or feigned attempts at righteousness will matter. Christians doing things the way JESUS said to do them, and not doing things in HIS name HE never said to do, is ultimately the best way for any society to function.

So, the president of the United States must lead by example, with word and deeds, to speak peace into the hearts and minds of the nation. This cannot be legislated. It must be modeled. Only a spirit of peace and unity coming from the off ice of the President can dispel the darkness and anger and frustration that has gripped America's young people and threatened our future and our present.

There are thousands of other issues on the hearts and minds of Americans. In the end, most of them come down to a change in attitude and a focus on others rather than self. In the end, it all comes down to the wisdom of JESUS being embraced by HIS people.

Who Are You Following

Who are you following

We all are following someone. We all do what is right in our own eyes. Sometimes, what is right in our eyes is also what is right in the eyes of others. Sometimes, it is not right in the eyes of others. Sometimes, they can even convince you it is not right in your eyes. Then you try to change.

If your a Christian, like me, then you strive to have what is right in your eyes to be what is right in the eyes of the LORD. It is not always easy. There are lots of other voices out there calling you this way and that. Some are obviously contrary to JESUS and some sound like they could be giving you good Christian counsel. In the end, the only real test of what is right and wrong in the eyes of JESUS, is whether it lines up with the JESUS that is in the Bible.

As a Christian, it is my place to do the things JESUS said to do, the way HE said to do them. Operating in the plans and purposes of JESUS results in the additional power of GOD to succeed.

Doing things JESUS never said to do, or doing things in a way JESUS never said to, results in a flawed plan and the loss of the power of GOD behind you.

If you read the teachings of JESUS, the one thing you will never find is a suggestion that Christians try to rule the world. There is no hint of an idea of Christians trying to control the actions of other people. No mandate for taking over governments and using laws to bully people into submission to our way of life. Being a Christian is about self control, not controlling others.

In this war that Christians are waging with homosexuals, there is a whole lot of stuff being done in the name of JESUS that JESUS never said to do. If you advocate using government to force your religion on others, that is not from JESUS. If you choose to be hateful and aggressive towards homosexuals, that is not of JESUS.

So, here is the question:

If JESUS didn't say to do the things you are doing, or advocating being done, who are you following?

My Tax Plan

Social Security and a Fair Tax
(plus paying off the national $18 Trillion debt)

Over 20 years ago I submitted a proposal to my then congressman, Arthur Ravenel. He forwarded it to the then head of the ways and means committee, Dan Rostenkowski. He sent me a letter saying it was a great plan but couldn't be done. for over twenty years the American people have been clamoring for a new tax system. I will get it done.

There are many ways the government, and society in general, exploit the poor and the elderly in America. None more obvious than the tax system we have and the lack of concern about Social Security. Well, unlike the rich elite and the career politicians, my mom relies on her social security to survive. Many of the poor working class will also want to lean on it for their retirement. Social Security is a promise from the government that we need to make good on, and we need to make it better for all concerned.

My flat tax plan lumps both SS and income tax into one very simple plan that will fully restore, grow, and strengthen Social Security, remove ALL the tax burden from the poor, reduce taxes for everyone to a level that all will support, and it will pay off the national debt in a matter of 10 years. Sounds like the typical hollow promises of politicians doesn't it? Well, let's look;

We will start with a straight 20% tax on everyone. 15% income and 5% Social Security.

Let's start with some very real facts;

The current economy and unemployment levels will not sustain a cut in taxes that is substantive. However, eventually, it is estimated that the government will need about 7%-10% to operate. This leaves us with half again that much to pay off the debt. Here is the real strength in the plan.

In order to get to the place where we can sustain this tax plan at, and even below, the levels suggested, we have to implement a reduction in the corporate tax rate in America to compete with the global jobs market. Right now, our corporate rate is in excess of 30% (which is enough to spark a tea party) while our competition is charging 12% (and a couple countries even less than that) So, my tax plan starts with a reduction to 13.5%. With that, we add the income tax plan;

Every person in America will receive a refund on their first $25,000. Everyone. If you make $25,000 or less, you will pay no taxes. You will get a full refund. This means, if you make $50,000 you will only actually pay 10% in taxes.

In the beginning, all of the 15% will be needed for the operation of the government. We might even need to change the percentage for SS to 3%. Please understand that 3% is on billions currently not taxed for Social Security. It is more than enough.

As the economy grows, we can eventually move more and more money to pay off the debt. Yes, I know that government can't be trusted to actually do that. But, you and I must make sure they do hold to the plan.

However, every dime will still count towards your Social Security retirement and/or disability. So, even if you only make $15,000 a year, and pay nothing into Social Security, you will still receive it based on your income level, the same way it is figured now.

Social Security

Every American who earns a paycheck today is taxed at a higher rate than 20% (when you count SS and income tax) This will not be a new or harsher burden. At the end of the year, we will say thank you for letting us use your money and return it to you.

Currently, Social Security is taxed only on the first $118,000. This will no longer be. So, within one year Social Security will see a trillion dollars pumped back into the system. After that, we can reduce the tax rate to 2%.

I believe this nation is built on the backs of the low income worker. But, America has a tendency to use them up and then kick them to the curb. We do this with our veterans and our seniors. No group suffers more than those who cleaned our toilets and scrubbed our floors. Yet, we owe them as much as we owe those who build our bridges and highways. Our senior deserve to be treated with honor and respect and we can do all of this in a simple and economical way.

I am confident that the wealthy of America would readily support a small percentage of their income going to those who helped them make it. It is a reasonable rate of tax and it will fund and grow SS until the end of days. As a Christian man, I believe this is in line with what JESUS would have us do. As an American, I believe it is right to pay the debt we owe our seniors who held this country together for 50+years.

Income Tax

I know there are many who want a consumption tax. There are three very good reasons for this;
To tax criminals and to entice the rich to put their off shore money back into the US banks, as well as getting rid of the IRS (which is big)

However, I resist this type of tax because of the insane burden it puts on the poor. Every penny in tax paid by the poor and middle class hurts them. Period. Giving more buying power to the poor and middle class does more for the economy and quality of life. So, unless someone can show me a way to exempt the poor and middle class from use taxes, without creating another bureaucracy, I will pass on that.

As far as the IRS, we just need to reign them way in. We need to muzzle that dog and put it in a pen. But, we will still need them to process self employment taxes.

Self employment will work the same way as it always has with the exception of no longer having to file separately for SS. After the cost of business is deducted, 20% is paid in. full refund sent back for the first $25,000.

IN my plan, the goal is to run the government on 10% flat tax and use 5% to pay off the debt. In the end, we should get the 5% gone as the debt is paid off. We should also be able to reduce the SS tax to 2-3%. so the tax rate will fall to 13% after paying off $20 Trillion.

Again, this doesn't get done over night. It will require growing the jobs and business foundation. But, it is very doable. It also relies on honorable men and women in congress who curb spending and stay true to the plans. No one can promise that will happen. But, we have to put plans together as if they will be implemented fully. We can't save this country if we are constantly on guard against the government doing the right thing.

Protecting our Constitution

Protecting Our Constitution

One of the reasons I am running for president as a Republican is because I believe they believe in this country, as it was founded. I also believe they have lost their way and have become misguided. It is my hope to gain their ear on the issues that affect the nation and threaten our true identity as a place where all people can live together in peace and harmony. I believe in this country and I know what we need to make it great again.
But, many in the party, even while saying they want to protect our nation and the constitution, are seeking to undermine the very essence of that constitution. A new movement is afoot to add a specific definition to the constitution of what is a marriage. Perhaps, if this was just a ploy to make life miserable for homosexuals, I could see it happening. But, it is not. It is an effort to establish a national religion.

There are those who say we already have a national religion and this nation has Christian roots. I am not going to argue with them. The founding fathers of this nation knew their Bible. In fact, they knew it so well that they founded a government based on that knowledge. Specifically, they knew that JESUS never called HIS people to try to control other people. They knew that HE never suggested that they bully those who disagreed with HIM or them. They saw what happened when the church got control of government is Europe and England, and they forged a document to ensure that could never happen here. But, there is more to this.

Because, this effort is not just an attack on the right to pursue happiness. This is an effort to silence every Christian who disagrees with a particular doctrine. Even those Justices that have argued on behalf of Christian influence in our laws, have acknowledged that the constitution was written to ensure that one specific denomination, or doctrine, was not preferred (or made into law) by our government.

They do this by saying that the other churches are not worthy to be called Christian. Yet, what is the greater sin? To accept homosexual marriage, or to do something in the name of JESUS that JESUS never said to do? JESUS never said to tear apart a nation. HE said to be peacemakers.

Yet, this is where we are now. There are Christians who want to undermine the very foundations of our nation to force their opinions and wants on all those who disagree with them. This is the very thing our constitution is supposed to ensure cannot happen.

I do not know why we can't all just live in peace. I do not know why so many Christians have rejected the teachings and plans of JESUS. I do not know what happened to “Live in peace with all men”. But, this attitude and these actions are killing our nation and destroying the very peace that was intended for its citizens.

If we want to see an end of same sex unions, we need to do the way JESUS said. There is no power in government do do this. There is only the power of GOD. That power is in how many Christians follow the teachings and plans JESUS set down, not in government and courts. The power of the Christian church is not in government.

Please, no matter how you feel about homosexuals getting married, it is not worth destroying this nation, and our constitution, for you to have your own way.

Doing Right

“and they all did what was right in their own eyes”

It is an interesting thing to watch the Christians in America today. They all seem to have an opinion. All their opinions differ and they all do what is right in their own eyes. There is no concern of doing what is right in the eyes of JESUS. There is no concern about following the teachings of JESUS. While some try to do what JESUS said to do, they do not even try to do it the way HE said to do it. There is more done in the name of JESUS that JESUS never said to do, then there is done in HIS name that HE actually said to do. There are more Christians doing what is right in their own eyes then there are doing what is written in the Bible.

Christians reject the teachings and cause of JESUS outright and completely, while condemning Christians for being apostate. Christians go to court against Christians in order to force their morality on the nation, against the teachings of JESUS. They use the weapons of the world to fight against sinners and reject the weapons of our warfare which are not of the world.

The founding fathers of America knew their Bible well enough to know that government wasn't supposed to be run by the Christian church. They knew that eh power of the Christian church wasn't in government and courts. They knew that only by following the teachings and ways of JESUS could morality and holiness be seen in the world. They had seen what happens when the Christian church becomes part of government and they crafted a document to ensure that could never happen here.
Now, Christians try to use the government to fight against sinners. This is not only a tactic not found in the teachings of JESUS, it is a tactic that is contrary to the teachings of JESUS. It is a tactic that undermines the true power of the Christian church. It is a tactic that empowers si and sinners.

Even worse, these same Christians are also trying to use the government to battle against other Christians. They label these other Christians as apostate. Yet, their very actions of doing things in the name of JESUS that JESUS never said to do is the greater sin and apostasy. Remove the beam from your own eye and you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

There is room in America for everyone to live in peace. Christians are called to be peacemakers. Yet, everyone wants to demand their own way and the is no peace. Christians are tearing at the fabric of peace exactly the same way as all the others. They do what is right in their own eyes and abandon the teachings of JESUS.

Ezekiel 2
And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
2:2. And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
2:3. And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
2:4. For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
2:5. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
2:6. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
2:7. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
2:8. But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

So I will do this to the end of my days. I live in frustration with my Christian brothers and sisters, knowing that it means I live in frustration with my GOD. So, I cast off my frustration and I acknowledge that you, O LORD, are still sovereign in the heavens and the affairs of men. You will allow them repentance or you will not. You will give them ears to hear and eyes to see, or you will not. In the end, I have rad the book. I know how it ends. Your will is done. I am yours to command.

Blessed are the Peacemakers

“Blessed Are The Peacemakers...”

The reason I am running for president is because I see the damage that is being done by divisive leaders in government and in the Christian community. Everyone of them seems oblivious to the environment of hate and intolerance they create. Every word spoken that denigrates a person, or group of people, results in a schism among the citizens of America. Some will take that to the level of violence.

A recent story of two brothers who beat up a homeless Mexican in NY, and then stated that Donald Trump was right about them not belonging here, is just the latest in these actions.

Christians have blown up abortion clinics as a result of people speaking ill of those inside. The women who have abortions, women who are spiritually sick and emotionally strained, are spoken of as some great evil people who one candidate is ready to call out the national guard against.

Homosexuals are portrayed as an enemy of the nation and an enemy of Christians. Look at this group that calls themselves Westboro Baptist Church whose members are all about hate and violence. Blacks are encouraged to hate whites. Whites are encouraged to hate blacks. It seems that there are folk who benefit from upheaval and disunity, and they stir it up as often as they can. And the people follow.

Where are the peacemakers? Where are the Christians who believe turn the other cheek, walk the extra mile, if they take you to court, give them more than they ask for? Where are the Christians who believe in living in peace with all men? What has happened to us?

This nation is replete with people disparaging other people, calling for and creating little civil wars and battles within our borders and against Americans. Where are the leaders who speak peace and love and grace to the nation? Where is a leader who doesn't tear people down in order to build themselves up? Where is there a leader who brings hope and strength to the nation?

There is no power in government to effect a spiritual sickness. It seems as if no one is trying to disperse the darkness. Rather, our leaders in America are enveloped in the darkness. A man named Keith Green wrote a song with the lyrics, “the world is asleep in the dark that the church cannot fight 'cause it's asleep in the light”

I implore all of the candidates and leaders in America, “Stop the hateful rhetoric. Stop the divisiveness. Stop demanding your own way and trying to use the government as a weapon against your fellow Americas.”

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of GOD”

Answering a voter named Dawn

Answers to ideas and question from a voter named Dawn

First of all, I want to start this response by stating that I am not a career politician or one of the rich elite. The level of expertise you have asked for on each issue is not really possible, in my opinion. That is why, certain politicians and candidates have certain points they hit and others they barely address.

My point of view come from the position of a normal citizen who lives at or near the “poverty line”. As I see the gulf between the rich and the poor widen, I know a number of reasons it happens. Relief of the poor is my secondary focus.

I have a multifaceted view of issues. My primary one is that government can't fix this. Only GOD can fix this. If the Christian church doesn't return to the plans JESUS set down, then GOD will not fix this. If the Christian church does return to the plans and purposes of JESUS, then many of the social concerns will be dealt with. So, let me start there. This is primary to our nations health. Not just from a position of faith, but also from a position of the intent of the founding fathers.

In America, 70% of the citizens claim to be Christians. So, if you mobilize that large a segment of society to act on behalf of the people of the nation, then the nation will reflect that. If the Christians in America implement the plans JESUS set down, and stop doing thing JESUS never said to do, then they will feed the hungry, house the homeless, clothe the naked, provide healthcare to the needy, and likely end people losing their homes. It may seem outlandish to believe that, but there is no other group with a belief that they have a mandate for GOD to do exactly that. Here is how that works and what it looks like;

GOD gives every Christian 10% of what they have for the work of the kingdom. If all of them tithe that money to the effort, then the church would have more money than the government. Since the church also has less bureaucracy and a lot of volunteers, it could organize into a force that would end hunger in America. If Christian carry representing the teachings of JESUS to their proper end, we would see an end of racism and riots and most of the social ills we see today. This would even be represented in how businesses are run.

Government can't bring peace to Americans. Government can't create jobs. Government can't fix this. A president that leads the people, and doesn't try to rule them or force them to be what he thinks they should be, can influence the course of the nation. So, I feel that this is the real answer and if the Christians will not do it, then it can't be done. You can't heal this nation with 70% of the population fighting against the cure.

Relief of the poor. This wasn't on your list and the things I am going to write you have never heard. (probably) Because, I see things from the position of the quintessential under capitalized entrepreneur. I see things from the position of the poor. I have been homeless and spent many years living off of less than $5,000. I know what government needs to do to stop the exploitation of the poor. So, here is the plan;

First, return to a time when interest rates above 12% were against the law. In this country, when a person falls on hard times and finally gets a job, there are people out there ready to suck the life out of them with interest rates from 20-200 percent. We need to crack down on that.

Recently, my bank decided to end the free checking account I have. Were it not for my direct deposit, they would have started charging me $25 a month if I didn't maintain a minimum balance. If you have never been a person who couldn't maintain a minimum balance, then you do not know how much losing the money hurts you. Without a bank account, you are left paying a large chunk of your check to cash your check. This is an exploitation of the poor.

A fair tax that exempts the poor. There are all kinds of ideas for a “Fair tax”. Here is another one;

A 20% flat tax. Every person who pays in, gets a refund from their first $20,000. If you make less than that, you get a full refund. 13% to income tax and 7% to social security. Even though you make less than $20,000, what you claim as income is used to determine how much SS you can get when you reach the proper age. Even though the poor pay nothing in, they still are looked out for in their old age. This plan instantly shores up SS and ensures it is there for all generations.

Also, if you make $40,000 a year, you only wind up paying 10%. Three percent to income tax and 7% to SS.

Every American today pays more than that off the top in SS and income tax. So, it is not a new hit to the wallet. At the end of the year, I would like to see it happen in late November or early December, everyone gets a refund of their $20,000 of less income. This is timed to be there for Christmas. This is good for the economy and for strengthening families. Those who have help build America and keep her strong by taking those low wage jobs that need to be done, will be rewarded for their day with social security benefits based on their income. A win for all concerned.

Your question on abortion has made me realize I must write a very long dissertation on this subject:

I am a Christian. Unlike many of my brothers and sisters, I am keenly focused on the spiritual and the eternal. Every aspect of my point of view is tinted with the cause of CHRIST and the kingdom of my GOD.

I am an American. I will fight for your rights to the death. We will fight for our rights to the death. If someone tries to enact a law that takes away our rights, we will fight. We will also ignore it. Prohibition has never worked and it never will.

I am a science oriented kind of guy. I know that when the egg and sperm come together, they form a strand of DNA. If you took this strand of DNA to a lab, they would tell you it is a strand of DNA from a human being. There is no doubt that abortion kills a human being.

We have established, wrongly, that Americans have the right to kill their unborn babies. It is unfortunate that this resulted in the murder of 1 million babies a year. I understand why this bothers folk.

But, what really tears my heart out and makes me cry is the fact that there are a million women in this country who are in such a spiritual, emotionally, mentally dark place, that murdering their babies (sometimes what would be their first born) is a reasonable option. That reality takes all precedence for me as a Christian.

I know that the nation is suffering form a spiritual sickness that only GOD can heal. I truly cannot champion a call to make these sin sick women criminals. I cannot see forcing them into the back ally butcher shops. I cannot see where anyone is served by that. Is it possible that the number of abortions would drop? Yes it is. Is it probable the number of women mutilated, sterilized, and killed in abortions would increase? Most definitely.

So, until we have a Christian president who will appeal to the women of America to not murder their babies, until we can overcome the society of death that is in this nation. Until we can lead the women of America to stop killing their unborn, changing the laws will not be a good thing.

So, if you ask me to champion this cause, I cannot. It goes against all that I feel is important. It goes against my eternal, spiritual perspective. If, on the other hand, the legislation comes to my desk, I will not veto it. (even though I fell it would be a grave mistake)

We need to lead the American people to feel love and compassion for the unborn. We need them to care. When that happens, when we have reduced the abortion rate by saving souls and healing spiritual sickness, then the laws will not matter. If we do not do this, then the laws will not matter.

Second Amendment. People who want to take guns away from people who have guns are not wise. Declaring war on the citizens is not wise. Many of the citizens who have guns, have them to protect against over reaching government. Jack booted thugs with guns, coming to take their guns, would not go well. Making criminals out of those with guns and making it so only criminals have guns? Not wise.

Affordable healthcare. I first would like to encourage the Christian church to step up and deal with this with all the other issues we never should have sloughed off on the government. This nation needs to be a nation of people who take care of each other and stop trying to get the government to do it all. Let's recreate a society that doesn't call on the government to do anything and let's do it ourselves. That is what our founding fathers intended.

The illegal immigration issue, in and of itself, is not high on my list. However, securing our borders for the purposes of national security and stopping the influx of terrorist, is a top priority. We need a path to citizenship for those in this country now and we need to do the whole build a wall, sensors, guards on the border thing.

Economic growth versus redistribution? Really? Do people actually think of those two thing in the same category? Redistribution means using the government to steal from the rich and give it to those who, for whatever reason, don't earn it for themselves.

Economic growth means that people have jobs and work and earn for themselves It also means they have it to give to others. Economic growth will only happen when the American people stop looking to government to solve their problems and decide to solve them for themselves. People taking care of people. This is something the Christians should be leading the way in and modeling for all to see.

ISIS and Israel? Israel is our ally. Those who bless Israel will be blessed. Those who curse Israel will be cursed. Important to those who do not believe in the GOD of Israel is the real truth that they are the stabilizing influence in the region. Given the chance, they would live in peace with their neighbors.

Islam is a religion based in the fundamental “Kill the infidels”. This will never change. We need a good surgical way to fight the war against them in the middle east. I have an idea about that, but it will wait until I can talk to my military advisers when I am president.

The greater concern with Islam and ISIS is on our home soil. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim who wants Sharia Law. That is why NO SHARIA LAW is in my platform.

Short history lesson;

Many years ago, in a land far away, there lived a man named Yasar Arafat. Mr. Arafat wrote a book in which he clearly laid out a plan for Palestine that included establishing a state within the borders of Israel from which attacks against Israel could be carried out. For some reason, the world leaders ignored this and supported Palestine as a free nation. Since then, they have launched attacks against Israel for there.

That same strategy is in play in America. Establish areas where Sharia Law can be enacted, where the police will fear to go. From there, they will launch and support attacks against America. This is going to happen and there is nothing government will, or even can, do about it.

We are under attack and they mean to end us. PERIOD!!!

Progressive Presidents and their destruction of America:

Let me share another story;

There was a man named Davy Crocket. He lived a few years ago in America. Has some history at the Alamo. He was also a congressman.

At one session of congress, a navy admirals widow came to congress and asked for money. Davy Crocket stood and passionately explain that under no circumstances should public money be given to private citizens. After congress voted not to give her money, Davy Crocket walked down to her, opened his wallet and gave her all he had. Others followed suit and she was well taken care of.

A few years later, there was a big fire in a city (I think it was the Chicago fire). There was a bill before congress to give money to help rebuild the city. Davy Crocket stood up and declared that this would be setting a precedent that would bankrupt the nation. But, he supported the effort. His words were quite prophetic.

Two realities; Presidents don't do these things. Congress does. Presidents can lead and can veto and fight against. In the end, stalemate and unhappy people who want the government to hand them stuff.

We need to change the way people think. We need to stop asking the government to take care of these things and we need to dig deep and pull together and fix this. Government can't fix this.

Now, here is another issue you didn't address, but I think is important: Changing congress and the mindset of American.

We need term limits to put an end to congressional pensions, and the seniority system in Washington. We need to stop thinking that business moguls and career politicians are the answer.

Business moguls live in a world where they borrow and borrow and borrow and declare bankruptcy. Then, they borrow and borrow and borrow and declare bankruptcy. When they get in government, they just borrow and borrow and borrow. They also live in a world where some of them get paid $20 million to leave their job.

There are governors who claim to have balanced the budget in their states. But how did they balance them? Selling lottery tickets to exploit the poor. Taking billions of dollars from the federal government. When they get into federal government? There is no lottery and not pot of gold to draw from. Balancing a budget in this way means nothing on the presidential level.

This nation was designed to be run by the common man. Not the rich elite and career politicians. Each family household in America has more experience balancing a budget than any of the candidates (except me) that I have heard of. Having to decide what you can and cannot afford is foreign to most of them.

That is all I have to write for now. I hope you agree.

Legislating Morality

So, I was at the debates. Didn't go in. Learned a lot from the protesters. Mostly, learned that a number of really uneducated people are being led by someone who is either taking advantage of the ignorant to gain some notoriety, or they are led by the ignorant. Let me show you what I mean;

Point 1. They protested defunding Planned Parenthood. Now that, in and of its self, is not unreasonable. They feel that this is an action that is a result of a moral determination and the idea f using moral ideals to determine the actions of government and laws is a bad thing. I agree.

Point 2. They want to pass a tax law that taxes billionaires at 98%. Their logic? It is immoral for billionaires to exist when there are people hungry in America.

I am sure you can see the first thing wrong here. It is a problem with all sides of a position or moral point. It seems there are people who feel they have the right to determine the morals for other people and to use the government to enforce those morals. This, in itself is immoral. More than that, it highlights the very point I have been making with my campaign.

Government is not a weapon for some one, or a group of someones, to use against other Americans. We need to stop this notion of trying to force people to follow the morals of a majority. This is the cause of much of the upheaval and disunity in America. It is very possible for all the people in America to live and let live. It is very possible for all the people to do what is right in their own eyes. In fact, it is necessary that we, the American public, determine to do that. Let's just all get along.

This has to stop. There is no need to tear at the fabric of peace in America just because you think you are better, smarter, or your morals are more moral. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God”. I want to be a peacemaker. I want to lead all Americans to embrace peace and the notion that “Love Never Demands Its Own Way”.

For my Christian brothers. Please, I beg you, please look into the teachings of JESUS and see that this is not in HIS plans or teachings. Please see that using the government and courts in this way only serves to empower evil and sin. There is a reason JESUS never suggested trying to control people's actions or use the government and courts to force the laws of GOD on people. HE knows what is best and HE knows that this plan of action only empowers the enemy. The enemy is not people. It is a spiritual war that government and laws cannot influence. Only the plans JESUS set down can fight a spiritual battle and bring the power of GOD to heal a spiritual sickness. SO STOP IT.

But, I must take this moment to educate these rather ignorant folk on the reality of life;

First, billionaires don't just make a billion dollars a year. It takes many years. So, at what point do you decide to enact this tax? What ever point that is, people will stop making money a couple dollars before the cut off.

Second, are you really so stupid as to think billionaires have billions in the bank? Most of them billions in assets. Since I am sure your silliness was geared towards Donald Trump, let me just say that his billions are tied up in properties that employ a few thousand people. So, do you want to take his assets and remove the jobs from those people?

I trust this has helped to educate you on just how dumb that protest was. It was so dumb, I can't even remember the other points.

Do yourselves a favor and study what happens in a society where you take away the incentive to grow and flourish.
