I have lived it!

Business

I have spent many years as the quintessential under capitalized entrepreneur. I know how government destroys the chances of those who would be the foundation of growth and prosperity in this nation. I have seen how mandated salaries and insurance and regulations and fees kill a business before it can start. There is no one in this race who can say they have the experience I have in this arena.

The Plight of the Poor

As a man who is poor, I know how this government could have helped me. A tax system that is fair would be a good start. Whether it is a user tax that exempts food and medicine, or a flat tax that refunds the taxes on the first $20,000, to every person. The flat tax would mean that anyone making $20,000 or less, would get a full refund. A person who makes $40,000 would get half of their taxes back. So that the burden of the tax system is carried by those who can handle it.

End legal loansharking. It used to be against the law to charge the interest rates that are levied against the poor today. Once a person falls on hard times, there is no way to get out if the money you need costs more than you can pay. This need to end. It is a disgusting practice to exploit the poor

A Leader of Peace

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of GOD”

Of all the things this nation needs, it needs a person who will lead it to peace. Our leaders spend so much time tearing at the peace of the nation, that the citizens know nothing else.

This continuous effort by some to control the actions of others with government and courts has to stop. It is not he roll of government, or the roll of Christians, to try to control the actions and lifestyles of other people. All of these little civil wars that go on in America are a direct result of people demanding that other people be what they think they should be. America must be led to a place of peace. There is room in this nation for every lifestyle and religion and race and color of person to live in peace. We need a president who will uphold peace within our boarders as a standard. We do not need leaders who tear each other down and show the nation disunity and discord.

Simply a Special Understanding

Those of you who hate JESUS and/or Christians should skip this part.

A simple and special understanding. GOD is still the answer. In the end, this nation needs a movement of GOD and that means the Christian church needs to return to the plan JESUS set forth. Our economy is in the tank because Christians do not tithe. The moral decline of the nation is a result of Christians who have rejected the plans of GOD and are following humanism instead of theism. There is no power in government to control sin and evil. There never was and there never will be.

There is no place in all the teachings of JESUS that would indicate government and courts as part of HIS strategy or purposes. We do not fight with these weapons of the world. When we do, we empower Satan by removing GOD from the equation.

JESUS set down a perfect plan. To change that plan (add to or take away from) or to reject that plan, is the height of hubris. GOD resists the proud. If the Christians church would return to the ways of JESUS, the personality of JESUS, and the plans of JESUS (as HE set them forth) then they would be salt and light in the nation and would tear down the strongholds that are being built in the spiritual.

A Christian View

America is founded on Christian Principals. Chief among them are the principals of freedom of choice of lifestyle, culture, and religion. The government MUST protect the rights to life, liberty and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. IT shouldn't restrict them.

The founders of America established a nation in which the citizens would be represented by the government, not ruled by the government. The President has the position of being a buffer against out of control congresses, and the Supreme Court is tasked with making sure the laws do not represent a majority and harm a minority. The checks and balances and the structure of the government of America is perfect in its authorship and flawed in its implementation.

The one absolute of this form of government is, no matter what course the society takes, the congress and the laws must represent the people of the nation. Not some of the people, ALL of the people. If, through the passage of time, the society throws off decency and self control, if the society becomes wicked and evil and decadent, this government must represent that society. In order to have the nation our forefathers established, government must be of the people and by the people and for the people.

Should it come to pass that America becomes the cesspool it is heading towards being, it will not be a failing of the government or the courts. It will not be a failing of the constitution or the freedoms and protections built into it. If America is lost, it will be a result of the failure of the Christian church to follow and reverence the plans of GOD!

America today boasts a population that is 70% Christian. Yet, there is no power in them. Why? Because they have rejected the ways of GOD and followed the wisdom and plans of men. It is because of this that the United States is floundering. It is because of this that GOD has held back blessings and has poured out chastisement and has resisted the plans of Christians. Because they are not HIS plans and they cannot work.

Our government is working perfectly. Our supreme court is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. The American people are divided in half over whether to be Democrat or Republican. They will not cross over to vote for a candidate of the other party. So, is it not a perfect representation of the nation that our government act the same way? The supreme court is tasked with ensuring that laws that are passed, or have been on the books for 200 years, are not discriminatory against the minority or the individual. As our society changes, the supreme court is going to be asked to examine the laws of the land in light of the people they affect. In the end, as morality declines, moral laws will be removed.

The only hope for America is JESUS. If HE will move on HIS people to bring them back to HIS plans and purposes, than (and only than) will there be hope for America. So, what is HIS perfect and powerful plan?

Go into all the world and make disciples. Take care of widows and orphans. Feed the hungry, house the homeless and clothe the naked. This starts with obedience to the law of GOD. Bring the tithe into the storehouse, and stop spending the LORDS money on ridiculously expensive temples and high priced pastors and really reject the idea of a $68 Million jet.

Then, stop adding to the plan. The pride that is bringing the resistance of GOD to the Christian Church is the idea that the plan of GOD isn't good enough. So, we add using the government and courts to try to control people. There is no command, no mandate, no suggestion that JESUS ever made to lead HIS people to think they are supposed to try to control anything but themselves.

GOD is in control. For Christians to try to wrest control from GOD is an act of pride that goes straight to what Satan has tried to do. It is not our place to be rulers or dictators. We are to be leaders and people of influence. We are to influence people, not control governments.

K. Ross Newland is running for president to influence the people to good works that will revitalize and revive this nation. With no desire to be a ruler or a king, he has set out to use the Presidential election process to influence the Christian church and to galvanize them behind a message and a candidate that represents the strength of the Christian Church. Our strength is not in our numbers alone. Our strength is in our numbers when they are following the plan of GOD for HIS people.

My friends,

I have for years been teaching that our ways of doing things are wrong. I have written a book to explain it. I have operated a ministry to explain it. Even with all I had come to see, I still couldn't get a complete handle on it.

Recently, I wrote this quote that the LORD gave me: (thank you JESUS)

“When Rome made the church a part of government, it stopped operating as men empowered by GOD and began acting like men entitled by GOD and empowered by position”

Since that time, I have been kicking around what it actually means and I think I get it now.

The first church, the church JESUS left behind, was a church that represented HIM very well. It was meek and humble and spent every day knowing that it needed the power and protection of GOD. It operated in stealth mode in humility. It went quietly along doing the one thing JESUS told it to do, spread the gospel and save souls. It was like a whisper in the crowd. Slowly changing the hearts of the people and the course of the nation. Its power was in the wee small voice. Ssshhhh... Then it became a part of government. Then it became a majority. And...

BAM. HERE WE ARE. IN YOUR FACE. WE HAVE THE NUMBERS. WE HAVE THE POWER. WE ARE ENTITLED BY GOD ALL MIGHTY TO SQUASH YOU LESSER MORTALS. HERE WE ARE. WE ARE ALL THAT WITH A CHERRY ON TOP.

You see, GOD resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. There is much resistance from GOD against the actions and plans of the Christian church. There is not a lot of grace in the battles.

The pride and arrogance humanism, human power, human position, kicked GOD to the side. Marching forward in its own power, and denying the salvation power of JESUS, it ignored the simple ideals of Christian liberty. The church shatters the peace and unity of a nation and attacks the sinners in it. It represents an aggressiveness towards sinners that JESUS never had in Himself. Through it all, in HIS long suffering patience, GOD keeps letting them fail in the teaching of a lesson that they have no power apart from HIS plans and purposes.

We, the Christian church, are the ones given authority, power, a mandate, and a plan from GOD for changing the course of the nations and bringing peace to the land. Let's try to return to that time when we were afraid to stick our heads out. Let's return to that time when the Christian church was going quietly about its business. Lets return to a time of real humility and trust in GOD to direct the course of the nation in accordance with HIS grace and promises to HIS people.

Being the Stone

Recently I was reminded of the story of David and Goliath. Now, that story is used most often from the standpoint of Christians being David and standing against their Goliath. Which is a nice use of the story. However, as I was in prayer group the other day the story of David came up and I found myself saying I wanted to be the stone. Because, that is what I am.

“The battle is the LORD's”. So, I do not need to be David. JESUS has taken that position and is very good at it. I certainly do not want to be Goliath. I don't really want to be the army quaking in the background. I am the stone.

The stone is a solitary figure. Oh, he has some close friends in the pouch with him. They have been down that same river together and have had the rough edges polished off and been tumbled to a consistent smoothness. JESUS has collected them together to carry into the battle. But, when the time comes for JESUS to hurl the stone at the giant, the other stones hang back. They stay in the pouch. IN the end, it is just the single stone that has been slung out on its path.

The stone would like them to be along with him. After all, five stones headed at the same target makes you feel a lot better than being out there alone. But, it doesn't work out that way. The truth is, while your friends might give you some moral support, they will likely think your mission is foolhardy and futile. So they will sit back at let you fly into that giant all by yourself. You can't blame them.

In the end, those other stones are in that pouch at the behest of JESUS. They can no more choose to load themselves into that sling then you could choose not to be. Because, when you are the stone, you have been prepared for such a time as this. JESUS loads you up and slings you out and it is you and the target. You have to slay your giant on your own when you are the stone.

But, the really great thing about being the stone is that you know JESUS aims true. You may not know your objective, but you can be sure that you will achieve it and you will accomplish exactly what JESUS has decided for you to do. And your friends that you wish were supporting and helping you? They are back in the comfort of the pouch waiting to see what happens. This is the life of the stone and I wouldn't want to be anything else.

Because, once that giant hits the ground, the entire army of GOD is waiting behind you. When you finally slay that first giant, they see that the battle is won and they charge forward. The LORD comes to finish the enemy and retrieved the stone for another battle.

Right now, I am an unknown candidate for president of the United States. Even though I have friends who know people of influence, they are back in the pouch. There is just me. I wish they would JESUS would pull them out and fling them along with me, but they have another role to play. They will hopefully join me when the first giant falls. Perhaps, they will see that many giants have already fallen.

Because, it wasn't long ago I was living in a warehouse with no job and no money and a lot of spiders and mice. GOD raised me from that place. That is one giant down. GOD used that time to hone my faith and trust in HIM. HE knocked off my rough edges and made me fit for the battle. That is a second giant down. Finally, HE set me in a place, gave me a mindset, and set me on this path. Many more giants stand before me, but I know that the army of GOD waits for the next one to fall.

Being the stone is a place that with a couple of good friends. But, eventually, it is a place where it is just you flying at a target.

In The Name of JESUS

In The Name of JESUS

There are people in this country who do not want anything in the name of JESUS. They do not want the hungry fed in the name of JESUS. They do not want the naked clothed in the name of JESUS. They do not want peace and unity in the name of JESUS. No matter what good thing is done in the name of JESUS, they will resist it. There is nothing I can do about this.

I work for JESUS. I love JESUS. I act in accordance with my understanding of a loving compassionate Prince of Peace, and I know that there is a huge majority of citizens in this nation who feel that anything good, in the name of JESUS, is a good thing.

I also know that there are numerous people in this nation who do not believe in JESUS, but would take peace and love, grace and mercy in any name that might make it happen. There are people who will not divide from other Americans because we have a different belief.

I can do nothing to change the attitude of those who want to hate for the sake of hate. I can do nothing about those who would rather see destruction than to see peace if it means it comes in the name of JESUS.

This message is all I know for sure; If the people of this nation will strive together and work towards peace and unity, it can be accomplished.

If the people of this nation will strive together and work to feed the hungry and house the homeless and clothe the naked, it CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED.

If the Christians in this nation, who make up 70% of the population, will take the position GOD has ordained for them, and follow the plan JESUS set down for them, than they will lead this nation into a new era of peace and prosperity that none alive have ever seen.

So, I am running for the Presidency of the United States. I am running not because I have all the answers. I am running because I have one answer. That answer is the American people loving and caring for each other in a way the government simply cannot.

The government is like an absent parent. It can send you money, but it gives no love and it offers no knowledge of how to improve and grow. It is cold and distant and feels nothing. You and I, the citizens of this nation, can love and care for one another in a more effective and efficient way than our government can ever do.

If you are so offended by the name JESUS, that you will strive against hope and unity, then you are the problem. If you are so offended by homosexuals that you will strive against peace and love, then you are the problem. If you are so dead set against anything that is not a part of your group or political party that you will only strive against the healing and unifying of the nation, YOU are the problem.

For the rest of you, I only ask that you give me the chance to show you a better way. Please help me spread a message to heal the nation, and in the process, to bring the blessings of GOD upon us all.

Galatians 13:4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 13:5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 13:6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 13:7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

All that these verses say about what love is and isn't, is summed up in the phrase, “Love never  demands its own way”

Where there is divisiveness, where there is judgmental attitude, where there are those who would force their views on others and demand their own way in the lives of others, there is a lack of love. Arrogance and pride and self serving attitudes show a lack of love. Quick tempers, gossip, tale bearing, come from a lack of love.

When someone is a slave to their sin nature, we as Christians need to explain that their choices are destructive. If they receive that word, then you have saved a life. If they do not receive that word, then you have done what you can and you need to leave them in the hands of GOD and cover them in prayer.

There is no place in the teachings of JESUS the CHRIST that would suggest you would share the stories about HIM and if they do not believe, that you would raise a gang of Christians together and bully and chastise those who do not believe in HIM.

There is room in America for every type of culture and lifestyle and belief system to live in peace. You and I, the ambassadors of peace, the representatives of the PRINCE of PEACE, must strive with all men to be peaceable in the face of attack. We must love people into submission, not beat them down or legislate them into submission.

We have far too long rejected the teaching of the our LORD and MASTER, to follow the teachings and precepts of men. If there is to be any hope for peace, for revival, for a true awakening in the nation, it must come from the spirit of gentleness JESUS modeled for us. HE was silent and without complaint while being hung on a cross. HIS voice was not heard in the streets. Yet, our voices are raised in a blood curdling scream of fear and indignation at the idea that two men might want to marry each other. This is not the example JESUS set down.

JESUS said “love your enemies and do good to those who spitefully use you”. HE said not to repay evil for evil. Yet, can there be anything more evil than to do things in the name of JESUS that JESUS never said to do? Can there be anything more evil than rejecting the plan of GOD for the plans of men? Can there be anything more evil then the hubris and pride of human beings who feel they cannot trust the GOD they have trusted their immortal souls to?

I do not write these things to shame you are out of any angst or distress. I just write these things that you will question who you are following and of what spirit they are. It is the spirit of the world, the spirit of self, the spirit of the adversary, that demands it's own way. The SPIRIT of GOD unifies. The spirit of Satan tears asunder.

The Role of Christians in The World

As I have been putting my campaign for president of the United States together, I have had to look at what I believe is the answer to the issues and troubles of America. Singularly, I find myself fixated on our domestic issues. Since the LORD has already showed me so much about that, it was almost hard to imagine what else HE would show me. But in this last week, many of the things I have already stated seem to have come into much sharper focus.

You see, I know the chastisement of GOD is felt in this nation as a result of the Christian church rejecting pretty much all of the guidance, laws and precepts of GOD. So, if we want the blessings of GOD to return to this nation, we Christians have to “Humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways”. Yet, there is more;

In the law of GOD, there is a plan for loving one another, caring for one another, and even financing the care for one another. In fact, in our nation right now, should the Christian community decide to stop playing at Christian and start actually living as Christians, the power is with them to feed the hungry, house the homeless, clothe the naked, provide health care for all, and put every able bodied American to work improving our world. All of that would be doable if Christians would tithe and if pastors would focus on those issues instead of building bigger buildings to have church in (or spending $68 Million on a jet).

If that is not enough, the Christian church would have such influence in the nation that it would be possible to end the racist violence, the class envy, and even one faction tearing down another. Yes, that would mean Christians would have to strive to be peace makers and not trouble makers. That would mean Christians would have to try some love and grace and acceptance of folk that do not agree with them. But, it could happen.

We have been led for so long by men who seem to have forgotten there is a GOD who is still in control, that we have lost sight of all the great promises HE has made for us right here on Earth.

The truth is, all the worldly power and all the spiritual power has been given to the Christian church and the Christian church has chosen to give it away or just leave it on the door step.

Can you see it? I wish my Christian brothers and sisters could see it. Because I believe another belief system is going to implement the perfect plan of GOD and they will take over this nation by supplying all of the people's needs. It's just a matter of time.

I have been trying to rally my Christian brothers and sister to return to a time when the church was powerful and took care of the people around it. We could get back there. You could start tithing to your church, or a good soup kitchen if you are in one of those other kinds of churches. Rise up Christian folk. Take your proper place in the world. Not as rulers and dictators trying to force your views and opinions and lifestyle on other folk, rise up as the peace makers you are called to be and seize the day. FOR GOD”S SAKE, RISE UP!!!
